Head-to-head — FAQ
How does an F1 teammate head-to-head work?
Qualifying counts every round both teammates qualified for the team; whoever qualified higher wins it, regardless of later grid penalties. The race head-to-head counts only rounds where both were classified finishers, so a one-car retirement isn't scored as a win for the other driver. Rounds with a stand-in driver don't count. Sprints are excluded.
